The UK’s leading modular ATO (approved training organisation) announces changes to its board of directors and senior leadership team as it prepares for its next phase of growth.

As Aeros founding partner, Tom Dunn has held a prestigious career across a variety of industries, including but not limited to Aviation. His wealth of entrepreneurial experience has taken Aeros through many years of growth, and he hands the company over to Nick Dunn (CEO) and the Aeros board of directors, with its new chairman to be announced shortly.

Founder and outgoing Chairman Tom Dunn added: “These changes mark a natural evolution in Aeros’ journey. The enhanced team brings a broad depth of experience, and their shared passion for aviation education makes this an exciting next chapter. I look forward to supporting the board and the business as they move forward.”

As part of these changes, Martin Lynch moves into the role of Chief Operating Officer, having previously served as Managing Director. With a deep understanding of the business and a strong track record in operational delivery, Martin steps into this new chapter to continue shaping the future of pilot training at Aeros. He is supported by a strengthened leadership team, including new expertise in Sales & Marketing, airline professionals, and key appointments leading the Operations and Maintenance teams.

COO Martin Lynch added: “I’m honoured to evolve my role as Chief Operating Officer at such a pivotal time for Aeros. Having been part of the team for many years, I’m excited to continue supporting our people, strengthening our operations, and driving the highest standards in pilot training.”

The appointment comes as Aeros expands its training capabilities across its multiple UK bases and continues to innovate its modular course offerings in response to industry demand. This growth is underpinned by the company’s recently announced significant investment in Tecnam aircraft, transitioning its foundation Single Engine Piston (SEP) training fleet to modern glass cockpit technology. These aircraft not only enhance the learning experience with advanced avionics but also deliver improved environmental performance, supporting Aeros’ commitment to a more sustainable future in aviation.

With bases across the country (Cardiff, Gloucester, Leeds & Wellesbourne) and a proven track record of helping students achieve commercial licences, Aeros offers flexible, high-quality training programmes led by experienced instructors. The academy prides itself on a supportive learning environment, a fleet of well-maintained aircraft, and a commitment to helping students reach their aviation goals.

What sets Aeros apart in the industry is its commitment to breaking down barriers to train. Many choose to ‘earn as they learn’, meaning the industry benefits from Pilots who’ve demonstrated resilience and determination.

Aeros delivers a full suite of recreational and professional modular flight training courses in addition to its flagship Fastrack course, combining the benefits of modular training with flexible scheduling and it’s pay as you go pricing.

Aeros students can achieve, both UK CAA or dual UK CAA & EASA licences.

*Students are required to pay a modest enrolment fee to secure training places, but no high value or repeat prepayment are requested or required.
