A Multi-engine Piston Rating allows you to fly twin-engine aircraft that provide the additional safety of having two engines instead of just one. If you intend to take up a professional flying career, the MEP Rating is an essential step.

How it works
The course consists of 7-hours of ground school lessons, an exam, and 6 hours in our Diamond DA42, followed by the MEP Skills Test. Over half of your flying time will be used to learn how to safely control the aircraft in the event of an engine failure.
Pre-entry requirements
Before starting the course, you must have a minimum of 70-hours pilot-in-command (PIC) in light aircraft. The MEP course typically takes approximately 1 week to complete and leads directly into your Multi-engine instrument rating (MEIR)
