Terms & Conditions

Information about how Aeros operates, protects your information and provides its services.

These terms apply to transactions for flying tuition, flying training, self-fly hire, block hire and hourly aircraft hire provided by Aeros.

1. Definitions

“The Company” means Aeros Global Ltd trading as Aeros Flight Training, registration number 4488176, including its affiliated, associated or subsidiary companies and any successor or assignee of the business. “The Customer” means the person contracting for goods or services. “Courses” includes flying tuition, flying training, self-fly hire, block hire and hourly aircraft hire.

2. Booking and payment

The course price is shown on the booking confirmation. Any stated enrolment fee must be paid before training begins. Remaining course fees are payable as training is undertaken, and students may not fly while their account is in arrears. Enrolment fees are non-refundable except in unavoidable circumstances and at the Company’s discretion.

3. Cancellations and late payment

Cancellation charges are based on written notice:

  • Three calendar months: 10%
  • Two calendar months: 20%
  • One calendar month: 40%
  • 7–28 days: 50%
  • 0–7 days: 100%

Fast-Track enrolment fees are non-refundable once training has commenced. Where a discount was based on a complete programme, completed training may be reassessed at standard prices. Requests for payment will be supported by an invoice.

4. Prices and additional charges

Additional training, examination resits, retests and aircraft hire are charged at the applicable published rate. Aeros may pass on cost increases outside its reasonable control, including changes to fuel prices, landing fees, legislation or exchange rates. Prices may change when training is delayed or transferred.

5. Customer responsibilities

Customers are responsible for attending scheduled training, their own expenses unless stated otherwise, and maintaining all licences, medical certificates, passports, visas and insurance required for training. Training is governed by applicable Civil Aviation Authority requirements and Aeros operational procedures.

6. Overdue accounts

Outstanding balances must be settled before a course is completed. Aeros may charge interest on overdue sums and may withhold signed licensing or rating paperwork until the account is paid in full.

7. Aircraft and property

Customers must take reasonable care of Aeros property. Where insured damage is caused by a customer, the live Aeros terms state maximum normal insurance excesses of £750 for single-engine aircraft and £1,500 for twin-engine aircraft, subject to the circumstances and insurance cover.

8. Aeros responsibilities

Aeros will provide the confirmed training and maintain the regulatory approvals required to conduct it. Except where liability cannot legally be excluded, Aeros is not liable for indirect or consequential loss or for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control. Acceptance for training does not guarantee suitability, successful completion, licensing or employment.

9. Insurance

Aeros maintains insurance where commercially reasonable. Customers remain responsible for their own duty of care and for arranging appropriate personal injury, travel, medical or other insurance. Personal property is brought onto Aeros premises at the customer’s risk.

10. Ending training

A customer may withdraw from training, subject to the payment and cancellation provisions above. Aeros may terminate training where a student is unsuitable, breaches these terms or breaches operational requirements. Refunds are not normally available following termination for breach.

11. Copyright and confidentiality

Copyright in training material, documentation and software supplied by Aeros remains with Aeros. Materials must not be copied or made available to another person without prior written permission.

12. General

These terms and the booking documentation form the agreement between Aeros and the customer. Variations must be agreed in writing by an authorised representative. If one provision is invalid, the remaining provisions continue to apply. Prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT unless stated otherwise. The agreement is governed by the laws of England.
