Build the Knowledge Required for a Professional Pilot Career

Our ATPL can be studied full-time, in-house, or via distance learning: the same training, delivered to suit you.

Training is divided into four modules, each taking approximately eight weeks to complete. At the end of each module, students are required to attend a Brush-Up course, designed to refresh and consolidate knowledge to examination standard.

With in-person, video link and distance learning options – we have a solution for everyone.

ATPL 100

Learn together.

Our classroom-based ATPL Ground School provides structured learning in a collaborative environment.

Led by experienced instructors, onsite study offers regular interaction, peer support and direct access to teaching staff throughout your studies.

Ideal for students seeking a full-time and highly structured approach.

Our Gloucester and Wellesbourne courses are delivered by experienced TKI (Theoretical Knowledge Instructors) in person. Students in the north of England can join via live video stream in our state-of-the-art classroom at our Leeds East base.

ATPL 20

Study around your life.

Distance learning offers the flexibility to complete ATPL theoretical studies around work, family or existing training commitments.

Students benefit from structured learning materials, tutor support and access to Aeros expertise whilst maintaining control over their study schedule. Once the syllabus has been completed, they can book onto our in-person Brush-up course in Gloucester.

Four modules. One complete foundation.
