Clearer Costs. More Control.

Training to become a professional pilot is a significant financial commitment.

We believe you should understand that commitment before you begin, and retain as much control over your money as possible throughout your training.

That's one of the reasons Aeros specialises in modular flight training and operates a pay-as-you-train approach.

Rather than requiring students to pay the full cost of their flight training upfront, payments are made as training progresses.

How Much Does Commercial Pilot Training Cost?

The total cost depends on your starting point, training pathway, aircraft used and the individual progress you make throughout training.

Our Fast-Track programme provides a structured route through professional modular pilot training with published programme pricing, while Flexi-Track allows students to complete individual modules at their own pace.

Prices and inclusions should always be reviewed carefully, particularly when comparing training providers. Our team can explain exactly what is and isn't included in your proposed training plan.

Stay in control

How Pay-As-You-Train Works

Professional flight training shouldn't require you to hand an entire training budget to a flight school before you've flown the hours you've paid for.

With Aeros, flying is generally paid for as you train, with different payment arrangements applying to certain elements such as enrolment and theoretical training.

This means more of your money remains under your control until the training is delivered.

It can also allow students following a flexible modular pathway to earn, save and train progressively rather than having to fund their entire journey at the outset.

Funding Your Pilot Training

There is no single way to fund professional pilot training.

Students may use savings, family support, employment income or other sources available to them, and many Flexi-Track students choose to work alongside their training.

Aeros cannot provide financial advice or recommend borrowing that may not be appropriate for your individual circumstances.

What we can provide is clear information about our training costs and payment structure, enabling you to plan your training with a realistic understanding of the financial commitment involved.

Plan Before You Begin

We strongly encourage aspiring professional pilots to think about the whole training journey, rather than simply the cost of the first course.

Your plan should consider training fees alongside examinations, medical requirements, travel, accommodation where applicable and the costs associated with completing the full professional pathway.

Our Training Advisors can talk you through the Aeros training route and provide current pricing so you can build a realistic plan before enrolling.

Prices are published guide prices and may change. Aircraft choice, your experience, progression and additional training affect the total. Not all courses are needed by every student; CBIR and MEIR are alternative routes. This estimate does not add a full-programme package or Fast-Track price on top of individual stages. Any enrolment fee, additional examinations or resits, medical, travel, accommodation and other items not expressly included must be confirmed separately. It is not a complete cost-to-airline estimate or financial advice.
